Rumours of field Basansikis NOT being FROM Earth are false. He was born near Solsbury Hill in England, probably at the precise moment Peter Gabriel saw the eagle fly out into the night. field immigrated to Canada, with help, as a baby during the mid-70's. He grew up poor, in the idyllic countryside, and was kicked out of Enrichment in Grade 6 for Disobedience. Walking back to class, the boy was quoted with a smirk on his face saying, "I'm gonna be a Bad-Ass."

He later settled in and settled for Edmonton, Alberta. He was expelled from High School in the first minute of the first day. This was partly from goose-stepping the Principal, who didn't like his Punk-Rock boots. Beginning as a poet, field was writing Heavy the whole of his adolescence and into adulthood. Nearly getting taken out from Schizophrenia in his early 20's, there was a 4 year run of being a madman. Climbing out of that Hell with some good friends and some good meds in the late 1990's, he is on a longstanding, upward trajectory. The hope and plan is to be a People's Hero. field is a lifelong thumbsucker. He loves the beauty of women and Nature.
