As a writer field is overjoyed to be in the service of everyone, by channelling his new Fantasy Novel Series - A Kin Terrene. Since adolescence field has loved poetry and the beauty of words. Having been influenced by some excellent Junior High and High School English Teachers, as well as rebelling with other creative cohorts, a lifelong passion for writing has been upheld. After years and years of Self-Publishing and Independent efforts, field Basansikis is now officially a Novelist. With Book One in the Series completed for the beginning of 2023, a Literary vision that is destined to captivate the entire world is underway. Facing the undertow of survival and Capitalism, field is not swimming for shore, he is walking on water.

the body of work in this book was written and channeled in a way i no longer possess the capacity to achieve. VISAGE/face & NOVEL/book contains my facebook posts when I was using it as an abstract spiritual blog. it seems a ridiculous premise for a book, a collection of facebook posts. however, i approached the practice with an earnest sense of service over the time of its composition. my heart was transmitting in an altruistic way that i felt i was serving Humanity in the practice. unlike my other writing, i composed these pieces at the keyboard of a computer, not with a black ink pen in hand. it effects the cadence of the writing in a way that is surprisingly unique. the entirety of the book spans over seven years and is presented chronologically. there is a witness and growth present. always seeking breakthroughs, this collection represents a dignity and exposure in its humanness. a blueprint if you will, presented in a mirror of words. Insightful, fun and at times excessively profound, VISAGE NOVEL actually reveals the mental cartography and exposed inner workings of an unsung genius on the run.

"Redemption & Revenge" is a short story and essay collection by the Canadian author field Basansikis. He considers it his first real quantum leap in Literature. Poems Written on the Bus comes from a time of single page SURVIVAL POEMS, which is writing you do to survive when you are not doing the writing you are suppose to be doing. The works were composed most often on the bus. The rider was poor and slightly insane, using the act as a sort of lyrical therapy. Charming, robust, hilarious and unerringly genuine, this collection of a hundred or so poems is a favourite of many. It stands as a Literary victory flag of something truly original, untouched by restrictive humans and their compulsion to make others stink as bad as themselves. It shines undefeated, with gorgeous and tormented innocence.

I was BORN THRU THE WOUND and brought back to life as a wordsmith by writing this SURVIVAL POETRY collection while traveling Vietnam in 2014. It contains about 90 poems, written daily, as I reintegrated my outlook into having hope again for Life's journey. It is a quaint and sincere book, both simple and earnest. The poems are thumbprints of a master thief unfolding secrets, as he steals back his own spirit from the undertow of a world that disregards poets.
